BRADENTON, FL (WFLA) – A mother of two was arrested at the Social Security Office in Bradenton after leaving her children unattended to chase a tow truck, according to Bradenton Police.
It happened at the Social Security Office located at 5540 State Road 64 East. Nikia Mills, 29, was there with her two children, ages 4 and 5. She saw her car being towed and ran outside to chase it, leaving the kids behind, according to BPD.
After she learned that her car was being repossessed, she got inside the car, and drove over a parking curve, a sidewalk and into the grass area near the building, missing the wall by inches. She drove off, leaving the kids in the building for about an hour.
