Mo’Nique Claims That People Ignore Will and Jada’s Open Marriage Because They’re Hot and She’s Not!

pizap.com14532602964591While many marriages in Hollywood may be open in secret, Mo’Nique has always been vocal about the uniqueness of her marriage. Bossip reports that comedian Mo’Nique admitted to an open marriage just last week and is sticking by her relationship status. The actress who’s been very candid about open marriage, recently decided to explain in depth how her marriage became open. Check the video below:

BET the comedian says she asked for the marriage arrangement because she was dating another man while married……….

“Initially, when I asked for it, it was because I wanted to continue to see the gentlemen that I was seeing, and I felt comfortable telling my best friend [Hicks] that…and I didn’t want it to be where I was keeping anything from my best friend,” she explained. “That’s how it initially started, and when I tell you the conversations that we’ve had, it has taken me to a different place where I’m not even thinking of another man sexually, but still open to it.”

Mo’Nique then went on to say that other celebrity married couples such as the Smiths, Will and Jada, don’t face the same criticism she does about their open marriage because they’re good-looking. She claims that she is looked at as a pity case because of her weight.

“’Oh, we hope Mo’Nique not gon’ let him just use her like that,’” she recalled people saying behind her back. “Because society looks at me and they see a woman that looks like [she] couldn’t possibly have a man that looks like that if there was not something else involved in it…No one knew that it wasn’t Sidney’s idea to have an open marriage. It was mine.”

I don’t know if what Mo’Nique says is true, however, I do know that the Smiths seem more quiet about it while Mo’Nique is blasting on a bull horn that she’s in an open marriage. We heard you the first 3 times.

Would you be in an open marriage? Do you agree with Mo’Nique about her statements?
