Bow Wow has baby mama drama. Last week, he tweeted how he was the proud father of a new baby girl. But his baby mama, Miss Joie, wants the world to know that not everything is ‘peaches and cream’. Over the weekend, she revealed to TMZ, that she left Bow Wow’s name off of her daughter’s birth certificate because he wasn’t there for her throughout her pregnancy. He also was absent from the child’s birth in which she had to undergo an emergency c-section. He ‘allegedly’ showed up six days later, saw the baby and immediately fell in love.
Although Bow Wow is now saying that baby Shai changed his life and that he wants to be a good father to his child, Joie isn’t sure that she’s buying it. She tells Global Grind:
He’s getting all these props as dad of the year, I just hope he does the work, in fact, I pray he becomes an example to all young fathers. I was happy to hear his statements, I just pray he lives up to it.
She also revealed how they first met, his reaction when he saw his child for the first time and her vision for their baby. Check out a few excerpts from the interview below:

It’s pretty funny because he contacted me because he saw my tattoo and he wanted to use me in one of his videos. He initially wanted to use me for a shoot with him because he liked my tattoo. But ironically we never moved forward with the shoot, so we just remained friends and the rest is history.On Helping Him When He Was Stressed, Depressed, or Suicidal
He would always talk to me. We became friends before anything. So he would always talk to me and I was straight to the point with him. I would always tell him ‘you have fans, you have people who admire and look up to you. You have a beautiful blessing on the way that you have to live for. On Bow Wow’s First Time Seeing His Daughter
He didn’t say much, he just kept looking at her like wow. He just kept saying, ‘Wow! She’s so beautiful I can’t believe I’m a father.’ It was touching for him and he was kind of tearing up. This is new for him like it is for me.On Bow Wow Wanting To Be A Good Father

I went down a lot of career paths and I have my mind set on modeling. I wasn’t particularly going to go into male modeling, but it sort of just came. Right now I’m a full time mom. I want my daughter to be as regular as possible. I don’t want her to be sucked into this superficial life. I want her to have a real life. I want her to go to a regular school and do whatever she wants to do. I want her to forget any of that just because of who her father is. So everything I didn’t see when I was growing up, I want her to see it.
She is proving to be a headache already. Bow Wow knocked her up and they had drama all during the pregnancy. After he saw the baby he wants all in. Ok, so what’s the problem Joie. Leave the past in the past. He didn’t want you, but obviously he wants to help raise his kid. So let him. Trying to embarrass him and stress him out is going to make him want to stay away. Don’t let your personal feelings get in the way of a father seeing his child. Don’t be selfish.
This is not the way to go in order to get a man to do what you want him to do. Someone needs to have a talk with this young lady. What would possess her to talk to TMZ and GlobalGrind? Did they write her a fat check or something?? Did Bow Wow beat her up while she was pregnant? What am I missing?

Because she’s a trifiling rat that’s all about money. I learned that good looks doesn’t equals to having morals, good character, or integrity.
Rich folk with problems oh well… She needs more attention as long as he takes care of his kid(s) thats all that matters if they r really his…. That will be the best Maury ep Celebrity DNA drama!! =-)
Thats a shame. I wonder if it happen to been ciara being the baby ma. Will she talk tht why…not…yes she is the word trifling. He basically puttn food n her mouth.. So ungreatful. If ur not with a man and just have his child. The conversation is jus the child. Not u and the childs father. No relationship jus of the child. She talkn lettn the world no hes no longer hers. Men are always talking about women need to make better choices when they get pregnant by losers but the same advice goes for them. Bow Wow got some video girl/model pregnant and now he is complaining. If she wants to talk to the media about their relationship like he did she can.
it may not be peaches and cream. but you don’t have to keep perpetuating this “ill behavior” of deleting the father from his child’s life because it has not been peaches and cream. did not we get enough of that in our history. we got to start to find a common ground.
They both talked to the media I see no difference in their actions.

Um, if he wasn't there to sign it, how could he have been on the birth certificate. At least in Michigan, he has to be there and if you aren't married, they don't even let him sign the bc right away. 6 days isn't bad. My child wasn't claimed until AFTER I filed for support and he asked for a DNA test. Then he wanted to take a baby he didn't know, 2 hrs from her mother for a week so his family could see her…. People are full of sh*t.
at this point, it's the past and let's face facts, he is not going to be a great dad…because he doesn't know how to be…he ran away from the responsibility when she was pregnant, she is right to kinda push away from him and I applaud her for that, she should not have been mistreated by him, b.c. she was pregnant…a lot of women have been in her shoes and they would do a lot worseand say a lot worse b.c. he is a celebrity. Joi go enjoy your life with your new baby, file child support, setup visitation arrangements (if he wants them) and be done with his ass…she don't need him or the drama, he may be a version lil wayne in the making….
