New York - A candlelight vigil was held Monday to mourn the divorce of Kim Kardashian and Chris Humphries. Seriously, a candlelight vigil.
Occupy Wall Street protesters would have cringed if they walked by NYC Dash, owned by Kardashian, around 4:15 p.m. — just in time for the somber gathering.
Organized on Craigslist, Kardashian fans (and perhaps others who just found it hilarious) lit candles and left messages for the reality star, such as, “If ur a bird, I’m a bird Kim.”
One man played a guitar as the mourners, many of them with eyes closed, looked to the heavens where the short-lived marriage (that scored the pair $17 million from wedding sponsors) is ostensibly resting in peace. It is still unclear how the two will be splitting proceeds from the matrimony.
