Diddy is in the process of making his own cable network..
We ain’t going no where is a line that Diddy made famous.. Diddy and mace said won’t stop, don’t stop. And Diddy meant it.
After conquering music, fashion and the liquor world with his Cîroc vodka deal, Diddy is well on his way to becoming a Billionaire.
To help get him there, Diddy is looking to launch his own cable network.
Broadcasting & Cable broke the news on Monday that Combs will be launching Revolt, a music-themed channel which is slated to go live on December 12, 2012.
According to B&C, who cited unnamed sources, the producer/rapper has hooked up with former MTV programming chief Andy Schuon to develop the network, which is said to be aimed at African-American audiences. It is being reported that Comcast will distribute Revolt, though a Comcast rep would not confirm Diddy’s involvement. Time Warner Cable, however, admitted to having “some discussions” with Combs regarding Revolt and it is being reporting that they will also be involved with the network’s distribution.
The year is looking really good for Diddy so far. He has even made peace with Shyne.
In a radio interview with DJ Whoo Kid earlier this month, Diddy addressed his critics and explained why he gets hated on so much.
Diddy was, is and will always be an ever growing mogul.
This is a very strategic, well played moved by Diddy. To some it may look like a simple checkers move. But Diddy plays big. He’s playing chess. By having his own MTV type network he can actually control what music gets out there to the public. Therefore he can EASILY put his artists in the top spot and give them more exposure. Which in return will give him a better chance at signing better artists who will be broke 2 years later…
