Jay Z and Kanye had a “Watch The Throne” event at Miami’s LIV Nightclub last night.

The event was obviously for shot callers and ballers only. All stallers had to stay at home. Ticket prices were  $500 for men to enter, $300 for women & $2000 for VIP — that did not include table service by the way….. Just the entrance fee… Not to mention, people were waiting in line since 7 PM that evening. (That is what I call a sucker move.. I am not waiting in nobody’s line. However I will politely smile at everyone and walk straight to the front.)

What’s more, earlier this week on radio station 99 JAMZ, Jay-Z stated that he wanted to break the record for “Most Bottles Popped In One Night” of Ace of Spades champagne. According to Miami journalist Fred Gonzalez, he did just that:

The hip-hop icon broke the record for bottle purchase of Ace of Spades. After buying several rounds of the popular Armand de Brignac champagne produced by Champagne Cattier and that comes in an opaque metallic bottle, he then bought the 15-liter size ($100,000 price tag) and set the LIV record for bottles bought at $200,000. Jay Z also dropped the waitstaff a $50K Tip.

After spending all that money Jay Z did not perform and neither did Kanye because Kanye didn’t show up. It’s a recession out here.. I can’t afford to be a fan right now.. It’s way too expensive!!!
