After a visit to Marley country Snoop Dogg says he was “born again”.
During a visit to Jamaica Snoop was inspired to change his name to Snoop Lion and is ready to make music that his “kids and grandparents can listen to.”
This is the 2nd time Snoop has change his name. The first time he changed his name from Snoop Dog to Snoop Dogg due to label issues.
Although Snoop made a name for himself with gangster rap, the rapper has went on to do a different genre of music as of lately.
In the fall the rapper is set to release his Reggae album called “Reincarnated”.
The West Coast rapper held a news conference in New York on Monday. Later he played five songs for a small crowd, including one called “No Guns Allowed.” It features his daughter Choc.
The album will be followed with a documentary of the same name. It features him making music and will include some personal elements of his life, a producer of the film said. It will debut at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
I heard they had some pretty strong weed in Jamaica but whatever he smoked over there had to be some serious stuff.
