Toya & Memphitz were pissed at T-Pain last night so they gave the Twitterverse something to talk about. .. They slammed the “Im In Love With A Stripper” singer all over the social network.
Last night Toya cuddled up with her hubby Memphitz to watch T-Pain’s VH1 Behind The Music Special.
She tweeted:
“Watching T-Pain’s behind the music….. Waiting to see if they give my luv his props.’
Long story short. Mephitz discovered T-Pain when he as an A&R intern at Jive after he was handed his music on a mixtape. Pain at the time wanted to be a writer, Memphitz talked him into being an act and signed him to Jive. Next thing you know “I’m In Love With A Stripper” is a hit. These important piece of information was left out of the VH1 story. Toya was heated.
She tweeted:

Memphitz was really hurt by the omission and felt unappreciated on twitter:

The lashing got back over to T-Pains timeline and he was not about to sit quiet and let them bad mouth him.. He took to Twitter to say what they should have known to begin with.
I did a 6hr interview for Vh1 and didn’t control what they cut out. I told the whole story. But if it’s “f-ck me” then that’s what it is
If all it takes for you to say “f-ck t pain” is havin your part of the story cut out by a network. Then what kind of friend is that anyway

Feeling Foolish, Memphitz hopped on the phone with T-Pain and talked it out before the beef got out of hand:

People don’t have to LOOK for something that’s popping up right on their timeline when they are following you.. Memphitz and Toya should have been more seasoned about the situation. I’m not even in the tv network and I’m well aware that they sometimes cut out important parts.. They only have so long to tell a story and sometimes the editors deem that certain parts are not important.. The editor may not have even known who Memphitz was.. Most of us were unaware he existed until after he started dating Toya… That’s not to take credit from him.. It’s just saying we didn’t know..
Some popular dude quoted that “Marriages would be a lot easier if both people understood that they were on the same team”. Toya and Memphiz definitely understand this.. #TeamWhateverMemphizLastNameIs Wright, much different from when she was on Team Lil Wayne.. RESPECT..
