The 1992 love story starred a young signing Whitney as a diva in need of protection and Kevin Costner as her protector. ‘The Bodyguard’ featured the song that Whitney is best known for, Whitney’s version of Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You.”
This shouldn’t come as a surprise seeing how oddly enough Kevin was chosen to speak at Whitney’s Funeral. He described his co-star Whitney as an extremely talented woman who wondered if she was good enough.
“Whitney, if you could hear me now, I would tell you you weren’t just good enough. You were great,” he said, in front of the grieving crowd back at Whitney’s childhood church.
The Bodyguard grossed over $410 million worldwide. The soundtrack became the best selling soundtrack of all time selling 12 million copies in the US alone.
On March 28, participating theaters will show the film in honor of its 20th anniversary.

I would but it's in LA so I rather watch it at home.

From the "hell" all the way to the "NO"!! Why would I spend money to see it in theaters when I have it on my iPod to watch whenever?!?

Nah, I pride myself on being a smart person..
Can you say exploitation of the DEAD?
What's the point of re-showing the film except for money? I'd have thought any one who was a fan would have seen it when ti came out originally and since it grossed so much at the box office..Yeah Leonard, i'd agree with your comment.
I'll be there – if it's free. LOVE YA
