Frank Ocean Admits To Being Bi-Sexual on “Channel Orange” Album?

Twitter is up in arms today about singer Frank Ocean.   Ocean who is also a songwriter and has wrriten for many big name stars like  BeyoncéJohn LegendBrandy and Justin Bieber became the Trending Topic due to some lyrics on his new album Channel Orange..

On his new album Frank gives his audience insight to his personal life. Apparently the singer decided to come out and discuss his bi-sexuality on the album.

One review from BBC 1 Xtra‘s Max has posted a preview via her personal webblog with the following excerpt, which you can view after the jump!

Frank has also opened up about his sexuality on the album, we think it’s brave and admire him for being so honest and sharing such a personal aspect of his life through his music. On the songs ‘Bad Religion’ ‘Pink Matter and ‘Forrest Gump’ you can hear him sing about being in love and there are quite obvious words used like ‘him’ and not ‘her’.
In the world we live in now we can’t see this being an issue or why it should be?? But we do commend him for not continuing a facade and conforming to what a Hip Hop so called rule book expects, we say live your life and be yourself. If you love women and men, that’s your business.

Channel Orange is a beautiful album and worthy of sitting next to classics by Prince, Michael Jackson, George Benson and Sade.

Known for making beautiful love albums which both male and females listen to Frank’s male fanbase is having a hard time swallowing this new bit of information.  Some men are saying they would have to be gay in order to listen to a man sing about making love to another man.  Many of his male fans say they will no longer listen to the singers music.
Others can care less. They still love Frank.

President Obama is for gay rights. Anderson Cooper came out gay today. The co-founder of Facebook, Chris Hughes just married his gay partner Sean Eldridge and to celebrate a new same sex couple icon was introduced to the social network.
Although I can care less about someone’s sexual preference all this forthcoming information is a bit overwhelming.. The world is approaching a time when being mean and bullying gay people will no longer be tolerated.  It’s going to be safe to be gay.  The only thing is that so many people believe in the bible word for word and don’t understand that it’s a MAN MADE book.. The bible completely denounces homosexuality so people are still going to have a problem with this and see same sex couples as evil and sinners…
