Dallas Shooting Suspect Identified as 25-Year-Old Army Veteran Micah Xavier Johnson

Micah Xavier Johnson, a 25-year-old Army veteran has been identified as the person “solely” responsible for the ambush shooting of 11 cops, killing five, in Dallas on Thursday evening.  According to police reports he allegedly told the hostage negotiator that he was “upset about Black Lives Matter” and “recent police shootings”

Police Chief Brown casually spoke about the death of the sniper during a press conference this morning.

“Our hostage negotiator did a great job of getting the suspect to talk before he died.. The suspect said he was upset with white people and wanted to kill white people, especially white officers,” said Police Chief Brown.

Two civilians were also wounded in the shootings. Micah Johnson’s life was ended after a police robot detonated a bomb near him following a standoff that lasted several hours.
