EXCLUSIVE: Beyoncé May Be Voice of Nala in Remake of ‘Lion King’

The singer/actress/philanthropist is now reportedly the first choice of Disney in the remake of its incredible animated hit “Lion King,” which also ended up as a Broadway show.

According to Variety, Beyoncé hasn’t made a decision yet, since she is pregnant with twins, but insiders feel since it is a voice-based role, she is willing to do it.

James Earl Jones has agreed to be a part of the project, as has Donald Glover of the hit new series, “Atlanta.”

“Lion King” was originally released in 1994 and is one of the highest-grossing animated films of all time, ultimately hauling $968.5 million worldwide.
